Call on businesses in the market place and create in the prospective advertiser a desire to be included in the Valley Yellow Pages directory. Maintain and increase assigned advertising revenue and cultivate new business. Communicate to businesses the benefits and value of advertising in Valley Yellow Pages. Become a consultant to the customer by making recommendations concerning placement of advertising to the best advantage of the customer’s business. Have a confident and commanding understanding of advertising, yellow pages advertising, and the sales concepts of Valley Yellow Pages. Attend community functions such as trade shows and Chamber of Commerce events.
Make cold calls for new and increased business on the phone and premise. Secure appointments with business decision makers. Call on physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities and other healthcare providers to promote Texas Home Health services. Act as company liaison to clients to resolve problems and provide information on services and maintain positive relations. Work in partnership with other Account Executives, Executive Director and Regional Sales Manager to develop business plan and strategy for local market. Implement business plan for local market and report progress and results to Regional Sales Manager. Maintain organized account information on each client, track sales data, and identify key accounts.
Utilize solution selling techniques to maximize the business relationship and opportunity within companies with employees or less. Responsible for new business, account penetration, and retention. Regularly conduct cold calling and prospecting activities to identify and build a continuous pipeline of new potential customers. Maintain frequent and personal contact with existing small business customers to build strong relationships. Maintain a professional image and work environment. Submit daily or weekly account call reports including sales forecast to Area Small. Perform other duties as assigned.
Business Degree and or equivalent work experience. Experience preferably in the wireless, data and or telecommunications industry. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong negotiation skills, confident and aggressively seeks new business. Ability to use Microsoft suite as well as other computer software packages as required. Ability to present professional image of self And Company. Ability to travel .Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market are some requirements of this job.
