Data Analyst job

Minimum of three years credentials, coding and or physician reimbursement experience. Prior coding or documentation compliance auditing and ability to analyze statistical data preferred. Perform weekly data analyst audits for in accordance with Coding Policies and Procedures for Physicians. Document audit results and maintain logs or tracking tools timely. Provide feedback to Physicians and interpret Coding Management personnel for audit results. Compile monthly audit results or summaries for Management.
Monitor monthly statistical reports to identify trends and or potential issues. Assist in the development and distribution of internal training materials related to coding and or reimbursement. Identify, communicate and track provider documentation issues or trends. Assist staff with the analysis of claim and or appeal or denial issues, as needed. Proficiency in internet search functionality is required. General understanding of professional fee billing processes and or procedures. Working knowledge of ICD 9, CPT and HCPCS coding nomenclature, fee schedule reimbursement methodology, and regulatory requirements for physician coding and reimbursement.
Knowledge and ability to run Crystal Reports. Other duties as assigned. Correspond with data suppliers for the solicitation of schedule data, operational assistance, and problem resolution. Edit information from data suppliers in preparation for entry. Enter and verify data according to operating procedures. Review edit reports, make necessary modifications and changes to ensure accuracy of data. Represent Innovate in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner.
