We have an immediate opening for an OracleorSybase Database Developer. The Database Developer is responsible for supporting the operations and maintenance of the SII project. This will include the identification and isolation of operational problems. Develop software modifications required for technical upgrades and improvements to operational network and software environments. Be responsible for developing improvements and implementing new capabilities and functions as directed by the technical director of the program.
Primary role will be IT project leadership and development to support financial analysis and strategic decision making process. Very experienced, data centric lead developer with personal initiative and attention to details are ideal for the position. This role will be part of a core team of individuals responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that will support the company's continued dramatic growth. Work with other team members to manage the implementation of projects. Lead team on project tasks and provide status and update project plans.
Utilize Microsoft Windows development environment. Ability to code database objects. Ability to create ad hoc reports on an as needed basis. Experience with database reporting tools to support the end users Support and maintain SSIS data packages, Import, Export. Support and maintain Windows and UNIX shell script jobs. Perform database architecture design and development. Perform other duties as assigned. Development and Support for the Business Unit department IT applications.
