Candidates must possess a valid Kentucky dental license or be license eligible, must be a general dentist, must have or be eligible for a DEA license. Successful candidate must also possess excellent writing, communication and organization skills. Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, and related oral structures. Examine patients to determine nature of condition, utilizing x rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures. Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth, using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements. Provide preventive dental services.
