Administer the Financial responsibilities for Six Flags Great Adventure including, but not limited to Annual Budgets, Payroll Functions, Cash Control, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Loss Prevention, and Information Systems. Supervise the accurate recording of assets, revenues, and expenses, and the preparation of accounting related reports , conduct periodic internal audits , coordinate park budget with corporate officers, and prepare monthly forecasts and financial studies and analyses. Responsible for the Accounting functions of Ticketing, Attendance, Payroll, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, P and L, Construction, and Capital.
Plan, organize, direct and control the accounting, financial analysis, revenue control, cash control, ticket office, and Loss Prevention, MIS, payroll, and park level information systems. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial information crated at the park, including balance sheets, P and L’s, capital reports, daily reports, budgets, forecasts, etc. Manage the local treasury function. Oversee implementation of financial and operational systems in the park. Protects the company’s assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Oversees and confirms the company’s financial condition through financial statements and conducting of audits. Manage and direct the annual budgeting process to ensure fair and proper allocation of resources between departments. Manage and direct the forecast process, including monthly meetings with each department. Assists in preparation and review of all contractual agreements with the General Manager. Advise and assist the General Manager and Park President on projects as they arise. Provide leadership for the park to minimize and eliminate wasteful spending.

The Director of Finance will oversee company's Finance and Accounting functions including accounting policies and procedures, internal and external audits, financial reporting, budgeting or forecasting, risk management, compliance, and treasury. The Director of Finance is responsible for making recommendations to optimize investments of financial capital and collaborating with leaders of other department to prepare for critical business opportunities. The Director of Finance will oversee a department of report to the VP of Finance. The succession plan for the Director of Finance is to move in a VP Finance or CFO role in the future.
