Web Systems Administrator job

Information Technology is responsible for all aspects of computer operations and technical support at JNL. IT has several departments, including Systems and Programming, Model Office, Technology and Support Services. Associates in these areas develop and maintain application systems using leading edge technology to give JNL a competitive advantage in the industry. The Web Administrator is responsible for the support and maintenance of JNL's multiple web sites. Duties include installing software, monitoring uptime, producing reports, capacity planning.
Successful completion of an analytical aptitude exam, Strong scripting experience, Knowledge of Linux, AIX and or Solaris operating system, Production and customer focus, Familiarity with JAVA, Familiarity with NT, networking protocols, and general web programming languages, Strong communication and analytical skills, Good understanding of the software development process, Willing to learn new technologies, and Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with Apache, Web Sphere or Web Logic, J2EE technologies and Perl, Experience developing Interwoven Team Site work flows, Experience with Borland's Star team Source Control product. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and or education.
\At least two years of experience administrating Bee’s Web logic or IBM's Web Sphere Application Server, Three years experience supporting a multi tiered corporate web site. Analyze application problems and recommend workable solutions. Provide on call support when required. Monitor system performance and notify more experienced personnel of issues that arise. Execute jobs that emulate web or CRM application processing. Provide Tier II support for user and system problems. Monitor system performance in real time as well as via reports.
